It is offensive for a company to use deceitful tactics such like this. The form below looks at first glance to be a Directory Listings Correction Page. It emphasizes that this is to:

confirm your listing
add phone number of website listing at NO CHARGE
it is NOT a bill
there is no PRICE or COST mentioned

Now if you look carefully at the back page, you’ll see the Terms and Conditions in small writing. This is unfortunately where most people skip.

I’ve circled the important spots. This is not an invoice or listing confirmation. It is a solicitation. By signing and sending this form back, you are agreeing to pay $396.00 per year for your listing in a “Yellow Pages United” website (which is virtually unheard of and probably has no real value in traffic or lead generation). They will also continuously bill you each year and late payments accrue 10% interest.

Do not fall for this ploy! Buyer Beware!!
